3 things to avoid buying essential oils
Below are 3 of the easiest things to avoid when looking to purchase essential oils.
Synthetic Fragrance – Be aware of synthetic fragrances as this is not the natural aroma of an essential oil and so won't have its healing benefits and can even be dangerous. It is often hidden under the term 'Parfum' or just 'Fragrance' on ingredients lists.
Plastic Bottles – Oils from a genuine source should always come in a well-sealed, dark-coloured, glass bottle as this preserves the quality and life of the oil.
Beware Cheap Essential Oils – True essential oils are normally expensive as it takes vast amounts of the plants to produce a small amount of oil. If you see a very cheap oil then it is safe to assume that it is not an entirely pure essential oil.
